Join us for NEAT’s Business Breakfast: Shaping Employability Skills in Education

Following the success of NEAT’s first Business Breakfast in July 2024, we’re thrilled to invite the business community in Newcastle Upon Tyne and surrounding areas to our next event. The NEAT Business Breakfast will take place on Friday, 22nd November 2024, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Benfield School. This gathering is the first in a series of three termly events designed to deepen partnerships between our schools and local businesses.

Why Attend? 

The theme for this Business Breakfast is “Employability Skills and the Curriculum.” This is a unique opportunity to have your voice heard and influence how we prepare pupils for future careers. You’ll gain insight into NEAT’s curriculum goals, discuss the ideal school leaver profile, and explore how employers can actively support us in building meaningful, work-related experiences for young people.

What to Expect: 

  • Engage: Join fellow local business leaders in discussions about employability skills and curriculum development.
  • Contribute: Share your perspective on the essential skills young people need to thrive in the workforce.
